Comprehensive Recording Capability

The VER4000-S continuously records onboard activity to solid-state memory. Additionally, data is also recorded to a secondary removable (flash memory) source.

In addition to mandatory recording requirements, a number of value added options are available:

  • Date and time
  • Ship's position
  • Speed
  • Heading
  • Bridge audio
  • Ship's VHF
  • ARPA radar picture

The signals below need only be recorded if a 61162 (NMEA0183) output is available

  • Depth under keel
  • Rudder angle
  • Engine order and response
  • Hull openings status
  • Watertight and fire door status
  • Hull stress monitor outputs
  • Wind speed and direction
  • Second radar
  • ECDIS
  • Specialised data options
